I recently wrapped up my first ever Nutritional Program! I had little expectations going into it (pasta, bread and coffee were my favourite food groups). BUT, I wanted to gain a better understanding of the effects of food choices for my family, and also my clients.
It all started with a decision - to put my health first without sacrificing my love for food. I've watched friends and family members test out every fad diet on the market, from shakes to fasts, raw food diets, low carb diets, the list is endless. And while I don't judge anyone for those choices, I know that for me, they are not a sustainable long-term solution. I believe that food should be enjoyable to cook, share & experience!
So, I embarked on a quest to revamp my eating habits, and boy, was it a delicious ride! I teamed up with Kellye from Clean Life Nutrition. She didn't just hand me a bland diet plan; instead, she crafted an incredible menu that included everything from sweet potato brownies, chickpea satays to banana & oat pancakes!
Kellye guided me through a daily meal plan, helped me to create a shopping list & provided support along the way.
As the days and weeks went by, I started to notice a real transformation. Instead of waking up tired & sluggish, I was waking before my alarm, feeling refreshed. I had more energy throughout the day and even my skin feels better! The nutritional program wasn't just about what I ate; it was about a full-body and mind rejuvenation!
After a month of enjoying nutritionally balanced meals and learning to appreciate every bite, I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm now on a path to maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle that doesn't compromise on taste. Plus, I've got a newfound appreciation for the art of cooking and creating nutritious, delightful meals!
In the end, I've learned that embracing a nutritional program isn't about deprivation; it's about celebrating the vast world of food and its potential to nourish both body and soul. So, if you're contemplating a nutritional transformation, remember that it can be a scrumptious adventure worth savouring.
It turns out that you can have your kale and eat it too! 🥦🍰
